One Person Coordinating the Whole Journey
Multi-city travel in China can involve many moving parts: hotels, domestic flights, high-speed trains, private vehicles, attraction tickets, restaurants and local guides.
Tom’s role is to help connect these pieces into one practical itinerary and, when required, travel with the group as a full-tour escort to coordinate the journey from city to city.
This service grew naturally from travelers who already knew and trusted Tom in Shanghai and later asked him to coordinate longer journeys across China. We also work with some first-time clients who prefer to have one person organize several cities from the beginning.
Tom is the trip organizer and full-tour escort, not a specialist local historian in every city. For destinations where detailed historical and cultural interpretation is important, a professional local guide can be arranged.
What We Can Arrange
Itinerary Design
Build a realistic route around the destinations, number of days, travel style and interests of your group.
Hotels
Recommend and arrange hotels based on location, comfort level, budget and the practical needs of the itinerary.
Domestic Flights
Domestic flights can be arranged for you, or we can advise and coordinate if you prefer to book directly.
High-Speed Rail
High-speed train travel can be built into the route and tickets can be arranged when required.
Attraction Tickets
Entrance tickets can be arranged in advance when appropriate, especially for attractions with reservation requirements.
Restaurants
Restaurant planning can be coordinated with sightseeing, hotel location and travel preferences.
Private Transportation
Vehicles and drivers can be arranged locally according to group size, luggage and route.
Local Guides
Professional local guides can be added in destinations where detailed cultural or historical interpretation is important.
Full-Tour Escort
Tom can accompany the group through the journey and coordinate the route, transport, hotels, tickets and local services.
For destinations with special travel requirements, such as Tibet, arrangements need to be confirmed according to the traveler’s nationality, route and the regulations in effect at the time of travel.
When We Use Local Guides
Tom as Organizer & Escort
Tom can manage the overall journey, route, daily timing, hotels, transportation, restaurants, tickets and coordination between cities.
He has general familiarity with the major attractions and history of the destinations he has traveled through, but does not present himself as a specialist local guide in every city.
Professional Local Guide
For detailed history, culture and attraction interpretation in destinations such as Beijing, Xi’an, Guilin, Zhangjiajie, Chengdu, Chongqing, Luoyang, Shaolin Temple, Shanxi and Huangshan, a suitable professional local guide can be arranged when needed.
